Volunteer FAQ


How do I sign up to volunteer?

To sign up as a Volunteer, simply follow the registration process and choose the “Volunteer” participant type and answer all associated questions. You will receive a confirmation email with the link to choose your volunteer position(s). Follow this link to select your role and you are all set!

Do I have a registration fee or fundraising minimum as a volunteer?

No, you don't have either. However, if you chose to fundraise we would be most appreciative!

Can I volunteer and participate in the event?

In most cases, no. Many of the volunteer positions conflict with the bike rides and walk. If you are interested in setting up for the event (the day before) or event cleanup (the afternoon on the day of event), in addition to participating in the event, please send us an email and we will make sure you are added to the volunteer list.

Can I sign up with a group?

Yes. We encourage that, but note that each individual must sign up separately.

Will you need me all day?

In most cases, no. Some volunteer positions have longer time commitments than others, but most last for 3-5 hours. During the Volunteer registration process, you will be prompted for your available times. You will not be assigned a position unless it is in your specified time slot(s).

Can I choose what I want to volunteer for?

Yes. You registration confirmation email will contain a link for you to select the role you would like. If you have any questions or concerns about a certain role, please send us an email. Thanks!
